ISBN, being used for books retail as marks, is a linear barcode symbology with a data capacity of 12 digits starting with 978/979. It's also known as International Standard Book Number, Bookland EAN, ISBN+2, ISBN+5, ISBN Supplement 2 (Two-digit Add-On), and ISBN Supplement 5 (Five-digit Add-On).

How to Generate ISBN for MS Project
1.
Switch to the add-in tab to activate the barcode creation panel
2.
Go to "barcode type" to choose "ISBN" in the property
3.
Input the valid ISBN data you need in the "data" box
4.
(Optional) Set other properties or remain the default value
5.
Choose a place where the ISBN will be placed
6.
Click "update" and you will get the ISBN image you want
