EAN-13 Barcode Introduction
EAN-13, formerly named European Article Number, is now called International Article Number, with the acronym EAN left. It's a continuous and omni-directionally decodable linear barcode, with a fixed length of 13 characters, including the Check Digit. As an upgrade version of UPC-A, it has been widely used through the global for marking the goods that are sold in supermarket or some other retail stores.

How to Install EAN-13 Add-In for Project

    Close all the Project programs on your computer
  2. 2.
    Download MS Project EAN-13 add-in trial package and unzip it
  3. 3.
    Click on the set up file twice to install the barcode add-in
  4. 4.
    Open a new MS Office Project and an "add-ins" tab will be added
  5. 5.
    Then the barcode plug-in is successfully installed in MS Project
How to Create EAN-13 in MS Project
  1. 1.
    Click on the add-in tab to activate the barcode setting panel
  2. 2.
    Choose "EAN 13" in "barcode type" pull-down menu
  3. 3.
    Input valid EAN-13 encoding data in the "data" box
  4. 4.
    (Optional) Adjust other properties or keep the default value
  5. 5.
    Choose a place to create the EAN 13 image
  6. 6.
    Click "update" and the creation of EAN-13 is finished
