ISSN Introduction
ISSN is a continuous, linear barcode used to identify serial publications. "ISSN" is the abbreviation of "International Standard Serial Number". Additionally, ISSN has fixed data length of 12 characters, excluding a check digit and the data of each ISSN barcode always starts with "977".

How to Install ISSN Barcode Add-In for PowerPoint
  1. 1.
    Download KA.Barcode Add-In for PowerPoint and unzip it
  2. 2.
    Double click the setup file "setup.exe" to install this plugin
  3. 3.
    Open a new PowerPoint document and click "Install" in a pop-up window
  4. 4.
    Now you can see a tab called "Add-Ins" at the upper left corner of the document

How to Embed ISSN in PowerPoint
  1. 1.
    Click the add-in tab and a barcode setting panel appears on the right
  2. 2.
    Choose "ISSN" in the "barcode type" pull-down menu
  3. 3.
    Type valid ISSN barcode data in the text box of "Data"
  4. 4.
    (Optional) Modify the properties of the barcode in the barcode setting panel
  5. 5.
    Click "update barcode to current slide" or "update a list of barcodes"
  6. 6.
    Now the ISSN barcode generation is completed
