Code 93 Barcode Introduction

Code 93 was designed in 1982 by Intermec, which provides a higher density and data security enhancement to Code 39. It is an alphanumeric and variable length barcode type. And Code 93 is used primarily by Canada Post to encode supplementary delivery information. Every symbol includes two check characters. Like Code 39, it can represent the full ASCII character set by using combinations of 2 characters.

Code 93 is able to encode:

Numeric digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Alphabets: upper-case letters A-Z
Alphabets: lower-case letters a-z
Special characters: dash (-), dollar ($), percentage (%), space, point (.), slash (/), plus (+)

How to Install Code 93 Add-In for InfoPath

How to Generate Code 93 in InfoPath

1.
Switch to add-in tab and the barcode setting dialog can be found on the right side of InfoPath
2.
Set "barcode type" with "Code 93" in the barcode setting panel
3.
Input Code 93 valid encoding data, and adjust the other properties if necessary
4.
Choose a place on the form where the Code 93 will be placed
5.
Click the "Update" to generate a Code 93 on the InfoPath
