Creating EAN-13 In .NET
Using Barcode creation for .NET framework Control to generate, create European Article Number 13 image in Visual Studio .NET applications.
Figure 11-16 The WeatherChooser page lists services that implement the weather interface When the user clicks on one of the services, weatheraspx is loaded which takes the selected service key and sends a get_serviceDetail message to get the service s end point URL as shown in listing 11-25 It uses the same techniques to send the message: XmlTextWriter with a StringWriter to form the message and an instance of UDDIAPI to send the message It then uses the DOM to retrieve the accessPoint element s text out of the returned response document and saves this URL in a hidden form field called Info

When the user enters a zip code and clicks Send, the code in listing 11-26 is invoked The code first does some validation to ensure a numeric zip code was passed then instantiates a WeatherService proxy For convenience, I created this proxy by adding a reference to the Weather service then I took out the service s URL from the proxy s constructor so the proxy acts as an interface proxy To invoke the Web service, you must first set the proxy s Url property to the Url that was retrieved earlier from UDDI and stored in the hidden form field The service returns an instance of CurrentWeather which contains information like temperature, humidity, and sky conditions This information is then displayed in various HTML elements such as labels and divs with the result being as shown in figure 11-18

This example application shows you how to get a list of businesses that implement a specific interface and how to find a selected service s end point URL and proceed to invoke this service You can build this model into your application to dynamically bind to services at runtime whether based on user selection or some other selection criteria

Using Barcode drawer for ASP.NET Control to generate, create Code 128B image in ASP.NET applications.
The previous two examples showed you how to invoke UDDI APIs directly by sending and receiving SOAP messages This is great for learning but once you ve learned the API you ll want a library that handles all the details of SOAP messaging and lets you focus on the UDDI API itself Microsoft s UDDI SDK provides such a library The SDK comes in two flavors: A NET class library and a COM component Both SDKs provide a nice object model that wraps the underlying UDDI APIs and data structures The purpose of these objects is to free you from directly manipulating SOAP messages and XML documents However they are not intended to abstract you from knowing the UDDI API and data structures Therefore the object model is a close mapping of UDDI APIs into objects The NET SDK breaks out its functionality into seven namespaces shown in figure 11-18 Table 11-1 shows what s in each namespace Table 11-1 The UDDI SDK namespaces and what they contain
