In this chapter, we undertook a hands-on case study and followed its progress through the different phases of the RUP A sample requirements document was used as a starting point Simulated changes to requirements and priorities along the way were used to show the impact on planned iterations The chapter concluded with a reader-led iteration, which elaborated on the existing implementation by adding support for new requirements
